Mandarin-English Interpreter

Job Summary

Providing real-time interpretation between Mandarin and English, the part-time contract Mandarin-English Interpreter will facilitate communication during meetings and training sessions while translating technical terminology and documents in Phoenix, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation during meetings, production floor interactions, and operational discussions
• Translate technical manufacturing terminology and support written translation of documents as needed
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while facilitating communication between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking personnel

Required qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) with at least 2 years of experience
• Prior experience in interpretation and/or translation services in a manufacturing or technical environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical terminology
• Formal training or certification in translation or interpretation is a plus
