Manual QA Tester

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and curious, the part-time Manual QA / Product Tester will support testing across the Status app and related products by identifying functional issues, UI inconsistencies, and UX friction in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct exploratory testing of existing app features and report functional, UI, and UX issues
• Test newly developed features and improvements before release, including retesting fixes in release builds
• Document findings and collaborate with QA automation engineers to ensure bugs are reviewed for automation

Required qualifications:

• Experience with manual QA, product testing, or a strong interest in developing in this area
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and confusing user flows
• Clear written communication skills for documenting issues in a structured manner
• Comfort using and testing mobile and desktop applications
• Curiosity about leveraging AI in manual and semi-manual testing to optimize QA processes
