Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Manual Quality Assurance Engineer for the SIMBA Team will develop and execute detailed manual test plans, perform hands-on testing across various platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and stability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive functional coverage
• Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices to validate new features and bug fixes
• Maintain organized QA documentation and collaborate with teams to triage and prioritize issues based on user impact

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly for web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including test planning and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar bug tracking/project management systems
