Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Manual Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute detailed manual test plans, perform hands-on testing across various platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality for the SIMBA Team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases to ensure functional coverage
• Perform hands-on manual testing to validate new features, bug fixes, and releases across browsers and devices
• Maintain organized QA documentation and collaborate with teams to triage and prioritize issues based on user impact

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly with web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including test planning and bug reporting
• Experience in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with bug tracking/project management tools like Jira or Linear
