Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

To support the SIMBA Team's growth, the full-time Manual Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute detailed manual test plans, perform hands-on testing across various platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for functional coverage across user flows
• Perform hands-on manual testing to validate new features, bug fixes, and releases
• Maintain clear QA documentation and participate in Agile workflows to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly with web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including test planning and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar bug tracking/project management systems
