Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on ensuring product quality, the full-time Manual Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute detailed test plans, perform hands-on testing across various platforms, and maintain organized QA documentation while working remotely from anywhere globally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for core user flows and edge cases
• Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices to validate new features and bug fixes
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to document defects and ensure issues are prioritized based on user impact

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly for web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar bug tracking/project management systems
