Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

To support the SIMBA Team's commitment to quality, the full-time remote Manual Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute detailed test plans, perform hands-on testing across various platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and stability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for core user flows and edge cases
• Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices to validate new features and bug fixes
• Maintain organized QA documentation and collaborate with engineering and product teams to triage and prioritize issues

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly with web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with tools like Jira or Linear for bug tracking and project management
