Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on ensuring high-quality software delivery, the full-time Manual Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute detailed test plans, perform hands-on testing across various platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive functional coverage
• Perform hands-on manual testing across different browsers and devices to validate new features and bug fixes
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to document defects and maintain organized QA documentation

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly with web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including test planning and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar bug tracking/project management systems
