Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on ensuring product quality, the full-time remote Manual Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute detailed test plans, perform hands-on testing across various platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document defects for the SIMBA Team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases to ensure functional coverage
• Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices, validating new features and bug fixes
• Maintain organized QA documentation and collaborate with teams to triage and prioritize issues

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly with web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including test planning and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with bug tracking/project management systems like Jira or Linear
