Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on ensuring product quality, the full-time remote Manual Quality Assurance Engineer for the SIMBA Team will develop and execute detailed test plans, perform hands-on manual testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to document defects and improve QA processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for core user flows and edge cases
• Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices to validate new features and bug fixes
• Maintain organized QA documentation and collaborate with teams to triage and prioritize issues based on user impact

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly with web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning, regression testing, and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar bug tracking/project management systems
