Manual Tester with VA Clearance

Job Summary

To support testing activities for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Loan Guaranty Service, the full-time Manual Tester with VA Clearance will execute manual test cases, design automated test scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system quality and compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases to validate functional, regression, and integration requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using VA-supported automation tools
• Participate in test planning, test case development, and test execution for new features and releases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years, Associate's degree with 5 years, or High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of software testing or quality assurance experience
• Ability to obtain VA Public Trust Clearance
• Experience with automation tools such as Ruby, Cucumber, Java, or Selenium
• Experience with manual testing tools like JIRA, Postman, or ServiceNow Workflows
• Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies
