Manual Testing Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manual Testing Technician to assist in evaluating software developed for Veterans' Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist developers in building test plans and writing test cases based on user stories
• Execute manual and automated tests, document results, and communicate defects to the development team
• Identify and test related items beyond the written requirements to ensure software quality

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Knowledge of test methodologies, QA processes, and the software release cycle
• Familiarity with operating systems and networking
• Experience with software defect tracking and object-oriented programming concepts
• Ability to write test plans and test cases, and experience with JIRA
