Job Summary
Providing technical and manufacturing support for multiple product lines, the contract Manufacturing Engineer will improve processes, product quality, and efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and medical device requirements in Dexter, MI.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support to manufacturing operations
- Improve manufacturing processes, quality, productivity, and cost
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis
Required qualifications
- Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and process improvement
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Familiarity with CAPA and PFMEA
- Medical device manufacturing/quality systems experience is highly preferred
