Manufacturing Engineering Director

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary Manufacturing Engineering Director, the full-time role will lead a global team in standardizing and optimizing complex manufacturing environments while driving lean initiatives and advancing automation in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a global framework for standardizing manufacturing and business processes across multiple sites
• Execute Value Stream Mapping exercises to identify waste and manage a lean project pipeline
• Identify opportunities for automation and collaborate with Data Science teams to enhance workflows with machine learning models

Required qualifications

• 10-15+ years of senior leadership experience in a High-Variation/High-Mix manufacturing environment, preferably in Tier 1 Contract Electronics Manufacturing
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, with practical experience in deploying Cobots and machine learning sensors
• Proven ability to manage remote teams across international time zones and influence site leads to adopt global standards
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; an MBA or advanced degree in Operations Management is preferred
