Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Job Summary

To support advanced manufacturing processes, the contract Manufacturing Engineering Technician will work remotely to procure, assemble, and test new equipment while maintaining production assets and optimizing lab environments for medical device manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Procure, assemble, and test new manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with validation requirements
• Manage the receipt and storage of materials, coordinating efficient material transfer flow
• Document test results and assist with lab organization to support build timelines

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in planning, ordering, and supporting manufacturing equipment
• Hands-on mechanical/electrical assembly aptitude; soldering experience is a plus
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; AA or equivalent from a technical school is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in the medical device field with knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 is preferred
