Job Summary
Leading the planning and delivery of wired and wireless LAN services, the full-time Manufacturing LAN Planning and Delivery Manager will coordinate network readiness for Ford manufacturing plants, ensuring operational continuity and security while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own the Manufacturing LAN planning portfolio, establishing priorities across various initiatives and managing supplier performance
- Direct site assessments and implementation planning to ensure network infrastructure readiness aligns with production milestones
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address connectivity requirements for manufacturing applications and ensure high availability of network services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline; Bachelor of Engineering preferred
- 2-3 years of network engineering and deployment experience, particularly in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience leading infrastructure planning and managing complex technical portfolios
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise wired and wireless LAN planning and delivery
- Ability to manage technical risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications effectively
