Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting aerospace manufacturing operations, the contract Manufacturing Quality Engineer will focus on backlog reduction and quality documentation processing for composite components in a fully remote position lasting approximately one month.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection of composite laminate components to identify defects and non-conformances
• Document inspection results in internal quality systems and review defect records captured in shop systems
• Execute MRB dispositions and generate Case Record documentation packages in accordance with engineering and quality standards

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in MRB (Material Review Board) and Case Record processing
• 5 or more years of working knowledge of manufacturing documentation, non-conformance handling, and quality systems
• Experience working with GE Aerospace systems
• Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
