Manufacturing Support Director
Job Summary
Leading a team of technical resources, the full-time salaried Manufacturing Support Director will provide onsite and remote support for manufacturing facilities, focusing on equipment reliability, line performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead support for manufacturing facilities experiencing equipment downtime and automation-related issues
- Partner with plant leadership to improve equipment reliability and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Evaluate production line performance to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of related experience and 6+ years of leadership experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 13+ years of specific experience and 8+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting plant automation systems, including PLCs and HMIs
- Proficiency in methodologies such as Breakdown Analysis (BDA), 5-Why, and Fishbone for root cause analysis
- Strong background in optimizing line performance and improving operational efficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
