Job Summary

A company is looking for a Marine Biology Adjunct Graduate Faculty Member.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and teach foundational courses in marine ecosystems and sustainable marine resource management
Instruct courses such as Coral Reef Restoration & Aquaculture, Impacts of Predators on Marine Ecosystems, and Marine Mammal Rescue & Rehabilitation
Teach courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course

Required Qualifications:

Terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DVM) in Marine Biology or related discipline, or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession
Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is desirable
Prior experience with field work and the Marine Sciences professions strongly desirable
Expertise in Oceanography, Ichthyology, and Corals is particularly desirable
Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
