Job Summary

A company is looking for a Marine Biology Adjunct Graduate Faculty Member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and teach foundational courses in marine ecosystems and sustainable marine resource management
  • Instruct courses such as Coral Reef Restoration & Aquaculture, Impacts of Predators on Marine Ecosystems, and Marine Mammal Rescue & Rehabilitation
  • Teach courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course
Required Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DVM) in Marine Biology or related discipline, or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession
  • Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is desirable
  • Prior experience with field work and the Marine Sciences professions strongly desirable
  • Expertise in Oceanography, Ichthyology, and Corals is particularly desirable
  • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
