Marine Biology Online Adjunct Faculty Member

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Faculty - Marine Biology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach foundational courses in Marine Biology
• Instruct courses such as Introduction to Oceanography, Form and Function of Unique Marine Systems, Sustainable Aquaculture Techniques, and Global Diversity of Freshwater and Marine Resources Used in Sustainable Harvest
• Teach courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course

Required Qualifications:

• Terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DVM) in the discipline or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession
• Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is desirable
• Prior experience with field work and the Marine Sciences professions strongly desirable
• Expertise in Oceanography, Ichthyology, and Corals is particularly desirable
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the university
