Job Summary

A company is looking for a Marine Mammal and Seabird Biology Adjunct Faculty Member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate engagement in a 5-week undergraduate-level Marine Mammal and Seabird Biology course
  • Provide timely feedback, engage in Discussion Board tasks, and be responsive to students
  • Teach courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course
Required Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DVM) in Marine Biology or related discipline, or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession
  • Efficient operation of a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication using e-mail and digital conferencing tools
  • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
