Job Summary

Providing critical administrative and underwriting support, the full-time Recreational Marine Underwriting Assistant will manage policy issuance, compliance monitoring, and broker communications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive timely and accurate issuance of marine insurance policies, ensuring completion within 48 hours of receipt
• Process policy cancellations and reinstatements within 24 hours, maintaining integrity and accurate coverage records
• Support underwriters with new and renewal business activities, including proposal preparation and quote development

Required qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in insurance, underwriting support, or customer service
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and pursuit of industry-related coursework
• Exceptional customer service skills with a professional approach to broker and client interactions
