Job Summary

Seeking a knowledgeable Maritime SME, Vessel Operations, the full-time remote position will support the development of digital products aimed at optimizing vessel performance and compliance with decarbonization regulations, collaborating closely with product teams and customer-facing departments.

Key responsibilities

• Support product teams in delivering software applications that provide insights into vessel performance and emissions management
• Analyze vessel performance data and translate it into actionable insights for fleet optimization
• Assist customer-facing teams in understanding data usage and enhance customer knowledge of product insights

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in ship mechanics, hydrodynamics, and vessel power systems
• 2+ years of onshore experience in vessel performance monitoring and voyage operations
• BSc in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field with a focus on ship operations
• Class 4 Certificate of Competency (CoC) or 2nd Mate Certificate of Competency (CoC) or higher
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and software development workflows is preferred
