Market Development Associate

Job Summary

To support market expansion efforts, the full-time Market Development Associate will identify and prioritize new market opportunities, cultivate relationships with energy buyers, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful market entry, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying, assessing, and prioritizing promising new market and product opportunities for the virtual power plant technology platform
• Cultivating relationships and expansion opportunities with Utilities, Retailers, and other buyers of energy and ancillary services in North America
• Tracking market trends to identify future opportunities and expand the company's presence in existing and new markets

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in wholesale electricity markets, utility demand response programs, or new market entry
• Ability to investigate and synthesize complex policies and market rules, effectively communicating key concepts to stakeholders
• Proficiency in policy analysis, market research, and data analysis
• Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
• Experience working in remote or hybrid environments across time zones
