Job Summary

To support a growing commercial division, the full-time salaried Market Intelligence & Business Development Manager will build and manage a portfolio of target commercial accounts, drive CRM adoption, and produce market intelligence briefings while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a portfolio of target commercial accounts through inside sales activities, identifying and qualifying prospects for national and regional sales teams
  • Own the national prospect database, tracking key market signals and producing regular market intelligence briefings for sales leadership
  • Drive CRM adoption across the sales team, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking and coaching on effective engagement strategies
Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years in commercial sales, business development, or sales leadership within the CEA, horticulture, or controlled environment agriculture space
  • Deep understanding of commercial cultivation, including license structures and supplier decision-making processes
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and influencing sales team behavior
  • Experience with Salesforce and familiarity with sales intelligence tools
  • Ability to build processes and standards from scratch without a predefined playbook
