Market Manager

Job Summary

To achieve revenue and retail execution goals, the remote Market Manager will lead distributor partnerships in the Chicago area, develop business plans, drive innovation launches, and manage performance through strategic communication and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Distributor Business Plans to align on business objectives and drive execution
• Manage market blitzes and create action plans to address performance gaps while overseeing POS needs
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, providing performance feedback and leading Retail Sales Managers as needed

Required qualifications

• Experience in sales or field execution within a CPG and/or DSD environment
• Proven ability to manage distributor relationships and drive in-market execution
• Comfort using data, scorecards, and reporting tools for decision-making
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
• Ability to influence without authority and hold partners accountable
