Market Manager

Job Summary

Driving market performance, the remote Market Manager will lead efforts to achieve revenue, distribution, and retail execution goals by managing distributor relationships and executing business strategies in the Avenel, NJ area.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Distributor Business Plans to align on business objectives and drive execution against volume and distribution targets
• Manage relationships with distributors, providing performance feedback and conducting business reviews to ensure accountability and execution
• Lead market blitzes and create action plans to address performance gaps while overseeing all point-of-sale needs

Required qualifications

• Experience in sales or field execution within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment
• Proven ability to manage distributor relationships and drive in-market execution effectively
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to use data and reporting tools for informed decision-making
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and hold partners accountable for performance
• Experience in coaching and developing teams, particularly in retail environments
