Job Summary
Driving market performance, the remote Market Manager - California will lead efforts to achieve revenue, depletion, distribution, and retail execution goals by managing distributor relationships and improving performance in the Greater Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute Distributor Business Plans to align on business objectives and drive market strategies
- Manage communication and performance reviews with distributors, ensuring accountability for execution and distribution targets
- Lead innovation launches and market blitzes while creating action plans to address performance gaps
Required qualifications
- Experience in sales or field execution within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment
- Proven ability to manage distributor relationships and drive in-market execution
- Strong organizational skills and comfort with data and reporting tools
- Ability to influence partners without authority and hold them accountable for performance
- Bilingual candidates are preferred
