Job Summary

Passionate about energy markets, the full-time Market Reporter will produce timely and accurate content for the refined fuels industry, delivering daily price assessments and news summaries while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily price assessments on a variety of refined fuel products for industry professionals
• Write concise news summaries covering major events and global developments affecting energy trends
• Provide consistent coverage of NYMEX oil futures and maintain industry relationships to enhance reporting

Required qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in basis price assessments
• 3-5 years of experience reporting on energy markets with a strong understanding of industry dynamics
• A solid contact base in refined fuels markets, particularly in the Gulf Coast or New York Harbor regions
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity
• A collaborative mindset with the flexibility to adapt to various editorial assignments
