Job Summary
To support the development of an Adaptive Learning App for Sub-Saharan Africa, a remote Market Research Consultant will conduct a comprehensive market validation and feasibility study, focusing on user segments, delivery models, and commercial approaches to inform product strategy and go-to-market planning.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on home-based and school-based ecosystems to identify viable pathways for launching and scaling the Adaptive Learning App
- Evaluate user engagement with digital learning, including caregiver aspirations and technology access, across key markets like Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana
- Deliver a final market research report with strategic recommendations, market sizing estimates, and insights on product-market fit and business models
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in market research within education, digital products, or EdTech ecosystems, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Proven ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research with caregivers, children, and educational institutions
- Analytical skills to assess business models, pricing strategies, and technology adoption
- Familiarity with adaptive learning systems and early childhood education
- Experience in low-connectivity digital environments is advantageous
