Market Surveillance Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing derivatives exchange, the full-time Market Surveillance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring trading activity, conducting investigations into potential rule violations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, all while working remotely from the US.

Key responsibilities

• Perform real-time monitoring of exchange activity to identify potential market abuse and ensure fair price discovery
• Conduct post-trade reviews and investigations of flagged transactions, preparing detailed reports and recommending actions
• Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and assist in preparing responses to regulatory inquiries and audits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Math, or Juris Doctorate
• 4+ years of experience in Compliance within financial services or equivalent experience
• Experience in Derivatives or Prediction Markets
• Familiarity with Trade Surveillance Platforms
• Knowledge of futures exchange operations and trading regulations
