Marketing Advisor

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare venture capital firm, the part-time Marketing Advisor will refine brand strategy, develop community growth initiatives, and provide marketing support to portfolio startups, engaging remotely for 2-3 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Help refine and enhance Healthcare Shares' brand positioning within the healthcare investment ecosystem
• Develop strategies to increase community member engagement through various marketing channels
• Advise portfolio companies on marketing strategies, including brand development and digital marketing best practices

Required qualifications

• Strong background in marketing, branding, and community growth, particularly in healthcare, startups, or venture capital
• Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with Healthcare Shares' mission
• Understanding of healthcare investment trends and challenges faced by startups in scaling marketing efforts
• Strong interpersonal skills for advising startups and collaborating with other advisors
• Passion for healthcare innovation and commitment to advancing health equity
