Job Summary

A company is looking for a Marketing Counsel (Temp-to-Perm).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor for Marketing, CXO, and Go-to-Market teams on advertising, promotions, and sales enablement
• Create legal frameworks for market entries, product launches, and channel expansions
• Review marketing campaigns and ensure compliance with advertising regulations and privacy laws

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
• 8+ years of legal experience in marketing, advertising, or commercial matters, preferably in-house at a technology company
• Strong knowledge of FTC advertising regulations and privacy laws related to marketing
• Familiarity with trademark law and comparative advertising standards
• Proven ability to work with business teams and provide practical legal guidance in a fast-paced environment
