Job Summary
Working remotely on a freelance basis, the Marketing Automation Manager will manage and execute automated marketing campaigns across various channels, focusing on enhancing customer experiences and driving revenue through the use of marketing technology and data analytics.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and execute automated marketing campaigns, primarily via email, while integrating new channels like SMS and app notifications
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration between marketing automation and CRM systems, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
- Analyze campaign data to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing automation using platforms like Braze, Iterable, or similar
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email customization
- Experience building and launching automated customer journeys across multiple channels
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as PowerBI, Looker, or Tableau
