Marketplace Head

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Marketplace for their e-commerce team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and grow the team of designers, engineers, product managers, and growth managers
• Take ownership of product initiatives and guide product and growth managers
• Refine and scale the direct to consumer e-commerce product and develop the multi-sided marketplace strategy

Qualifications:

• Deep background in leading e-commerce or marketplace products
• Understanding of e-commerce business dynamics and economics
• Experience managing and growing cross-functional teams
• Strong product and design sense with an intuition for user experience
• Technical depth to engage engineers and evaluate tradeoffs
