Marketplace Trust and Safety Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Trust & Safety function, the full-time Marketplace Trust and Safety Manager will oversee fraud prevention and enforcement programs to ensure a safe and high-performing platform for buyers and sellers, with the option to work remotely or from the Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ office locations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with data and business operations teams to design a fraud identification system
• Conduct in-depth investigations of suspicious activity on the platforms
• Create standard operating procedures for repeatable processes and document enforcement actions in detail

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in marketplace or e-commerce trust & safety, with ownership of a trust & safety function
• Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to drive decisions
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a sense of urgency
• Passionate about building safe and user-first marketplaces
