Maryland and DC Licensed Senior Staff Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Attorney in Insurance Defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal issues and conduct legal research
• Create and present defense strategies and prepare legal documents independently
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel while managing cases through trial

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of legal practice experience in tort defense in Maryland and D.C
• JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Maryland and D.C
• First-chair jury trial/appellate experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in handling claim cases and litigation
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
