Maryland and DC Licensed Senior Staff Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Maryland and DC Licensed Senior Staff Attorney will litigate cases remotely, focusing on premises liability, products liability, and automobile accidents while independently managing cases from inception through trial.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze complex legal issues and conduct extensive legal research
• Create and present defense strategies on behalf of clients while preparing pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Independently prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of legal practice experience handling tort defense cases in Maryland and DC
• JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Maryland and DC
• First-chair jury trial/appellate experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in handling claim cases and litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills
