Job Summary
To support quality care for military members and their families, the remote Maryland Board Certified Peer Reviewer will conduct independent clinical case reviews, evaluate medical necessity and quality of care, and provide evidence-based assessments while maintaining an active clinical practice.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct independent, remote clinical case reviews within your area of expertise
- Evaluate medical necessity, appropriateness of care, and quality of care
- Provide clear, well-supported written determinations based on established clinical guidelines
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board Certified in specialty by an ABMS or AOA-recognized board
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience within specialty
- Actively practicing and providing direct patient care for at least 20 hours per week
- Strong written communication and clinical documentation skills
