Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder in Practice Operations for a remote, part-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation and select appropriate procedure and diagnosis codes for billing
• Ensure compliance with teaching physician requirements in documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Professional Coder certification required
• Experience level based on departmental needs
• Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Understanding of government regulations related to teaching physician documentation and billing guidelines
