Maryland Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

To support its Community Association practice, a full-time Maryland Licensed Associate Attorney will manage a high-volume caseload of 250-400 active collection matters while collaborating with clients, paralegals, and senior attorneys, with flexible work-from-home options available.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of active collection matters from intake through resolution
• Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys on collection and community association issues
• Handle court appearances and represent clients in collection-related proceedings across multiple jurisdictions

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Maryland
• 2-4 years of experience in collections matters
• Working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Experience with debt collection litigation and district court proceedings
