Job Summary
To support its Community Association practice, a full-time Maryland Licensed Associate Attorney will manage a high-volume caseload of 250-400 active collection matters while collaborating with clients, paralegals, and senior attorneys, with flexible work-from-home options available.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage a caseload of active collection matters from intake through resolution
- Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys on collection and community association issues
- Handle court appearances and represent clients in collection-related proceedings across multiple jurisdictions
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Maryland
- 2-4 years of experience in collections matters
- Working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Experience with debt collection litigation and district court proceedings
