Job Summary
Seeking a Maryland Licensed Automation Engineer, this full-time remote position will focus on modernizing enterprise IT operations for a federal customer through automation, orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code, while collaborating with a growth-oriented team.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and Ansible for consistent environment provisioning
- Design and deploy Robotic Process Automation workflows to automate repetitive tasks
- Support 24x7 operations by engineering monitoring and orchestration tools to enhance system availability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
- Proficiency in cloud environments, specifically AWS and/or Azure
- Familiarity with ITIL service management and federal security frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP)
