Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing both back and front of the house operations, the full-time Maryland Licensed Chef Manager will manage culinary programs, financial reporting, menu development, and staff training while ensuring quality standards and cost controls are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise food service operations in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws
- Manage purchasing, inventory controls, and maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards
- Conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs, and participate in employee training and meetings
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
- Five years of progressive culinary management experience
- Knowledge of HACCP controls and safe food handling principles
- Experience in P&L and financial reporting, along with budget and labor cost management
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
