Job Summary
To support a collaborative patient care team, the full-time Maryland Licensed Clinical Coordinator will promote the safe and effective use of medications, provide patient care over the telephone and in person, and lead educational initiatives for staff and students in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure safe medication use
- Identify and address educational needs of staff, patients, and caregivers
- Precept interns, students, and residents while assisting with learning initiatives in outpatient pharmacies
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy or equivalent two years of experience
- State of Maryland pharmacist license required
- Minimum one year of direct patient care experience as a pharmacist
- Active CPR certification
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program preferred but not required
