Maryland Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support the Quality/Stars Pharmacy outreach team, the full-time Maryland Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will conduct targeted outreach to members, providers, and pharmacies to improve medication adherence and optimize therapy, while working remotely with occasional in-office meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to members to address medication adherence barriers and optimize therapy
• Manage a daily work queue of outreach opportunities, ensuring timely completion and documentation of activities
• Provide clinical guidance to pharmacy technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance program performance

Required qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Doctorate of Pharmacy)
• Active Registered Pharmacist license in Maryland and/or DC
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in a managed care environment
• Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid preferred
• Strong understanding of prescription benefit management programs and practices
