Maryland Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Job Summary
To support the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, the full-time Maryland Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide direct behavioral health services, case management, and patient education while participating in research activities related to moral injury and behavioral health, with potential for situational telework.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individual, family, and group psychotherapy, along with conducting clinical assessments and treatment planning
- Provide evidence-based interventions and develop educational materials related to moral injury for patients and clinicians
- Coordinate care for high-risk populations and advocate for military members navigating healthcare systems
Required qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an ASWB-accredited program
- Current, unrestricted Maryland license to practice independently as a Social Worker
- At least five years of independent clinical social work experience in mental health counseling
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent
- Knowledge of military health systems and related behavioral health issues preferred
