Job Summary
Supporting the mission of Revenue Integrity, the full-time Maryland Licensed Coding Specialist will manage charge capture processes, ensure compliance with coding and billing guidelines, and promote collaboration among clinical and operational teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Optimize charge capture and reconciliation practices to prevent revenue leakage
- Provide expertise in the build and maintenance of charge masters and fee schedules
- Oversee charge monitoring activities to identify and correct missed or incorrect charges
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field
- 2 years of experience with healthcare billing systems
- Certification in Coding: CPC, CCS, or COC
- Health care-related licensure or other AHIMA or AAPC recognized coding certification
- Relevant education or professional-level work experience may substitute for required qualifications
