Maryland Licensed Collections Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Associate Attorney in Maryland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of assigned collection cases from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate settlements

Qualifications:

• Member in good standing of the Maryland Bar
• 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in collections or civil litigation
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and relevant state laws
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management software
• Additional Bar licenses are a plus
