Job Summary
To ensure adherence to federal payor billing compliance, the full-time Maryland Licensed Compliance Manager will develop, implement, and monitor the Corporate Compliance Program while conducting audits and providing compliance guidance to personnel in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and conduct audits of patient medical records and billing to ensure compliance with documentation standards
- Provide education and training for management and staff on federal payor regulatory requirements and compliance matters
- Independently assess compliance risks and manage regulatory requests and vendor audits on behalf of the organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare, coding, auditing, or related fields
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other governmental billing regulations
- Experience in developing training materials and conducting educational presentations
- Strong analytical skills for monitoring billing issues and assessing compliance risks
