Maryland Licensed Compliance Manager

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with state and federal laws, the full-time Maryland Licensed Compliance Manager will develop and manage a comprehensive compliance program, oversee audits, and collaborate with stakeholders, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a compliance management program, including an audit framework and compliance policies
• Facilitate vendor, state, and client audits, conducting compliance risk assessments and implementing corrective action plans
• Analyze contracts for adherence to regulatory standards and assist in drafting legal agreements to ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or operational quality control
• Strong understanding of regulations affecting the automotive finance and titling industry preferred
• Experience with SOC I and II compliance and related frameworks
• Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification
